Aurora Elementary School second grade students in Miss Sammy's class used their creativity to make heartfelt gifts for each student to give to their mom on Mother's Day. The students loved creating something special for their mom to show their appreciation. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there!

Aurora Elementary School students in Mrs. Conner's class are crafting creative sentences about Dr. Seuss characters "Thing 1" and "Thing 2". Students are tasked with making sure they are using the correct writing form with both capital and lowercase letters, using action words (verbs) to describe the behaviors of the characters, and including correct punctuation.

Students in Mrs. Petty's class at Aurora Elementary School embarked on a fictional, prehistoric journey as they collectively read "The Dog that Dug for Dinosaurs." This captivating tale of curiosity and discovery captured the hearts and imaginations of these young readers. More than just being a riveting story, this was also an opportunity for the class to practice reading words aloud.
